The Craftsmanship
The pinwheel frame is cut and shaped from silver-tone metal, then oxidised by hand to darken the recesses and give the piece its antiqued depth. The high points are relieved to catch the light against the dark ground. A round dark stone is set at the centre and checked for a flush, secure seat. Each earring is finished individually, so no two oxidised surfaces are exactly alike.
